When are you open?

We don't have set opening hours, it varies based on the classes we are running and other commitments.

Do you have a newsletter or waiting list?

Yes! You can sign up for our Newsletter here

We don't currently operate a waiting list for any of our classes, spaces are available on the website on a first come, first serve basis.

Do you offer kiln hire or a firing only service?

We don't offer kiln hire at all, unfortunately our studio and kiln is simply too small so we have to prioritise firing workshop pieces.

However Glasgow Ceramics Studio offer a brilliant firing service, so it might be worth reaching out to them if that is something you are interested in :).

What type of clay & glazes do you use and can I bring my own?

We don't allow the use of personal glazes or clay due to the potential risks to our equipment.

We use 2 varieties of Stoneware for all of our classes:

Pottery Crafts Birch White

VitraClay Buff with Grog

We offer a variety of brush-on glazes. We don't currently offer dip glazes but hope to introduce these in 2027!
